OUR BUSINESS
in Vietnam
Established in Japan in 1917, Morinaga Milk Industry Co., Ltd. has always been involved primarily in business activities relating to the production and sale of dairy products. We began the full-scale export of formula milk to the Vietnamese market in 2010. Through the years we have expanded our business and now we have 3 subsidiaries in Vietnam; Morinaga Milk Vietnam Co., Ltd. was established in 2020, we acquired Elovi Vietnam Joint Stock Company and launched operations in Vietnam in 2021, and Morinaga Le May Vietnam Joint Stock Company became a subsidiary in 2023. We changed company name of Elovi to Morinaga Nutritional Foods Vietnam Joint Stock Company in 2024 to foster sense of unity in the group. We will continue to strive to make the benefits offered by milk available to the fullest possible extent for the Vietnamese people.

Morinaga Nutritional Foods Vietnam Joint Stock Company(MNFV) was founded as Elovi Vietnam Joint Stock Company in 2002 and has been offering quality, safe, and nutritious dairy products in Vietnam. Morinaga Milk acquired 100% of its shares in 2021, and the company became a wholly owned subsidiary of Morinaga Milk. It has changed its company name from Elovi Vietnam JSC in March 2024. The company has functional yogurt, nutritional supplement beverages, and health care products under Morinaga brand, as well as milk-based beverages and yogurt under Elovi and ZinZin brands.

Morinaga Le May was founded in 2022 with our local agent Le May, and became a subsidiary of Morinaga Milk through the acquisition of 51% of the shares. It is a sales and marketing company to import and sell formula milk in Vietnam.

Morinaga Milk Vietnam was founded in 2020 as an affiliate company of Morinaga Milk. This company is manufacturing B to B cheese products and introducing probiotics ingredients and dairy products.

This project was selected as one of the authorized projects by the Japanese Executive Committee of “The 50th Anniversary of the Establishment of Diplomatic Relations between Japan and Vietnam.”
